Construction of the civil works La Joya Dam

The project consists in the design and construction of the La Joya hydroelectric plant complete of mechanical, electrical and electronic plants required and plants servicing the dam with a 8km tunnel connecting the outlet tank to a loading tank. 
A Double Shield TBM  has been chosen during the design phase with a diameter of 6.18m and  finished with internal tunnel lining for an overall of almost 34000 segments.
