Ghella alongside Fondazione Umberto Veronesi to support pediatric cancer research

Ghella firmly believes that a better world is also built through small gestures of responsibility towards others. As a company it feels the need to take part in this change by concentrating its efforts in support of scientific medical research, the importance of which became even more evident during the first pandemic period.

After the biennial support to the Roman Hospital Lazzaro Spallanzani, Ghella has decided to support Fondazione Umberto Veronesi with whom it shares, in addition to some value assets, the commitment to find useful solutions to scientific progress in the field of health and medicine.

Ghella has chosen to support the pediatric oncology project Gold for kids, conceived in 2014 by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi. Developed in synergy with the Italian Association of Haematology and Pediatric Oncology (AIEOP) and its Foundation (Fieop), is aimed at maximizing the chances of healing and improving the quality of life of children and adolescents who suffer from cancer, first cause of infant death.

The project has specific objectives such as the funding of treatment protocols for young cancer patients, information and dissemination activities on the subject, raising public awareness and awareness of the needs of adolescents with cancer.

A significant commitment on the subject of health, to guarantee everyone a second chance: because taking care of the little ones, means having the future at heart.
