From Gold to Platinum: our headquarters achieves the highest level of LEED certification

Our headquarters has achieved LEED O+M v4.1 (Operations and Maintenance) Platinum certification, the highest level awarded by the world’s most widely used green building rating system.

This achievement comes just over a year after we obtained Gold certification in May 2025, marking an important next step in the sustainability journey of our headquarters. Building on measures already in place — including Airlite air-purifying paints, LED lighting, smart monitoring systems, solar panels and rainwater harvesting — we have introduced further improvements, including upgrades to the air-conditioning and rainwater collection systems, an increase in the number of electric bicycles available, and the replacement of balcony lighting.

With this achievement, our headquarters joins a select group of LEED O+M Platinum-certified buildings. In Italy, 147 projects are LEED O+M certified, only 9 of which have achieved Platinum status — approximately 6%. Worldwide, 11,655 projects are LEED O+M certified, with 2,049 achieving Platinum status — approximately 18%.

This recognition strengthens our sense of belonging to a corporate culture that puts people and the environment at its heart, and reaffirms our daily commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability, in line with Ghella’s ESG Strategy.
