Ghella confirms its EcoVadis platinum medal for sustainability and corporate social responsibility

For the second consecutive year, Ghella has received the most prestigious EcoVadis award for its excellent sustainability standards and for its commitment in corporate social responsibility (CSR). With the Platinum level, Ghella is confirmed at the top of the EcoVadis ranking, made up of 1% of all assessed companies.

 

Ghella has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second year in a row for its achievements in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

EcoVadis, an international organization based in France, provides independent assessments on four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The institute assesses around 6,500 companies in 160 countries worldwide. Its methodology incorporates various international standards, including the UN Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and ISO 26000. EcoVadis' assessment results are used by more than 65,000 companies.

Thanks to its commitment and the efficacy of its sustainability approach, Ghella has once again confirmed its level of excellence among construction companies worldwide. The award is testimony to the goodness of the sustainability journey undertaken by the company which, in just four years, has taken it from Bronze Medal (2018), to Gold Medal (2019) and now two Platinum Medals (2020 and 2021).
